New data threats are constantly popping up and others, such as phishing and account takeovers, are well-known. To provide added protection against these threats, Sharecat Solutions has implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) as an option for our clients using web login.
“Protecting our clients’ data has always been a core characteristic for Sharecat,” says CEO Dag Pettersen. “By adding MFA we have a simple and effective new tool as part of our suite of security provisions to support our clients.”
MFA is a secure authentication method that requires users to prove their identity by supplying two or more pieces of evidence (or “factors”) when they log in. One factor is something the user knows like a password and the other is something the user has at hand, such as an authenticator app (e.g. Microsoft or Google Authenticator).
Sharecat clients are free to choose whether to implement MFA or not depending on their company IT security
requirements.
The new functionality is available now, get in touch with your main Sharecat contact to learn more.
