Cloud Service – Asia Support Centre Lead

Sharecat is a European company headquartered in Norway.

We offer a cloud platform and expertise for handling complex technical information, linked to projects and plants, in asset intensive industries like oil and gas, chemical, renewable energy and similar.

We have recently signed contracts with new clients that include major global corporations which has accelerated the need to expand our support centre capacity. We already have a presence in Malaysia (Shah Alam) with a small services team and now need to build an additional support capacity for our cloud platform.

The support centre will initially cover our needs for support in Asia and Australia but will gradually be developed to become a 24/7 global support centre. We are hence looking for two candidates who will lead the set-up, operation, management and development of the support centre in close co-operation with our European team.

The positions will for the right candidates be a great opportunity to work internationally with modern cloud SaaS technology with major global corporations.


Key responsibilities


Sharecat Platform support

Process incoming support & service requests from users

Platform configuration, implementation & maintenance

Equipment supplier co-ordination and support

Create / maintain solution documentation & user guides.


Client support

Guidance on information management processes and best practice

Provide services for our customers related to information management. (e.g. establish procedures, create and maintain users, POs, document flow/ control, progress reporting, expediting.....)

Build, operate and develop the support team in Malaysia

Qualifications & Skills


Education

Degree qualification in Information Technology, Engineering, Data science or similar technical degrees


Languages

Fluent in both Mandarin (oral + written) & English (oral + written)


Experience

You have worked within Oil & Gas, Chemical or other asset intensive industries.

You have experience with one or more of these areas:

Technical information management in projects or operations

OEM/Supplier equipment information

Customer services & support

Team management in technical disciplines

Personal profile

An enthusiastic professional, ideally with information management background

Technical / software understanding and foundation knowledge

Strong client-facing and problem-solving skills

Curious, eager to investigate and learn, likes to take initiatives

Willingness and capability to do both operational tasks and contributing to operational and strategic development.
